This is actually a DB-25 (F) to HD-50 (M) converter, as seen in the picture, and NOT as described in the title.
I found this out the hard way, although the merchant I purchased it from was extremely apologetic and cooperative.
I am not sure why the listing itself has not been updated to reflect the correct genders.
